Our goal was to integrate OpenPGP into the webmail experience in a way that removes the traditional barriers to entry. Instead of additional software, plugins, or manual exports, all it takes now is a single click: “Activate encryption”. A short setup wizard guides users through the process and generates the key pair directly in the browser – secure, and in under one minute.
Once the setup is complete, the option “Attach PGP Key” becomes available when composing an email. From that moment on, encrypted communication becomes a natural part of the workflow, without requiring users to deal with technical details or external tools.
